The Coopworth
Sheep Society of North America is the only Coopworth registry
in North America that is recognized by the Coopworth Sheep Society
of New Zealand. Each registered flock submits yearly records
which include ewe production, fleece weights and lamb's adjusted
weight gains. Members are required to keep production records
to justify the selection of their top animals for registration
within fixed percentages, thus ensuring the continued improvement
of the Coopworth breed.
